Emface for the face
Emface, made by BTL, combines radiofrequency and HIFES stimulation in each applicator, with no needles and no downtime. Beyond TMJ care, Emface is FDA-cleared for the noninvasive, temporary reduction of facial wrinkles.
Tampa TMJ has the forehead, cheek and submentum applicators; the submentum is the area under the chin. Dr. Leon selects the treatment areas based on your evaluation and goals.

Botox and other neuromodulators
For facial aesthetics, these treatments temporarily relax selected muscles that create expression lines, while keeping your goals and natural expressions in mind.
Dr. Leon works with several products, including BOTOX Cosmetic, DAXXIFY, XEOMIN, Dysport and Jeuveau. Dr. Leon selects the product and treatment areas based on the patient's evaluation, treatment goals, and clinical suitability.

SkinPen microneedling, in the office
Microneedling uses a pen-shaped device with very fine needles to make tiny, controlled channels in the skin. SkinPen microneedling is offered here in the office. Dr. Leon talks with you about your skin and your goals first, and explains what to expect before you decide.
PRF for aesthetic procedures
Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is prepared from a small sample of your own blood. Dr. Leon uses it in aesthetic procedures, including with microneedling.
Separate from TMJ care
Aesthetic treatments are planned on their own and are not part of TMJ treatment. If you also have jaw pain or other TMJ symptoms, those are looked at in a TMJ evaluation.
